Vietnamese youth seized in Tranmere

A 15-YEAR-OLD youth from Vietnam has been remanded into local authority care after police found him as they raided a suspected drugs farm.

At Wirral Magistrates Youth Court the boy, who can’t be named, was charged with cultivation of class C drugs.

Police raided the property on Westbank Road in Tranmere on Tuesday, sei-zing a large quantity of sophisticated growing equipment worth £18,000, and over 300 cannabis plants worth £20-30,000.

The youth will appear at Wirral Youth Court on Wednesday.
