A LIVERPOOL school has been criticised for not having a clear and fair admission policy.
King David Primary School in Childwall has come under fire after a parent complained his daughter was not offered a place at the Jewish voluntary-aided primary school.
The ombudsman found maladmin- istration causing injustice and recommended the school should urgently review its admission criteria, give reasons for refusal, ensure appeal members are trained and have enough information.
It also recommends the school should give the girl a place unless her father decides it is not in his daughter’s best interest, and should pay £250 for his time and trouble in making the complaint.
