WIRRAL’S largest law firm has relocated to a new office, as partners pledged their commitment to keep its roots in the borough.
Lees Lloyd Whitley has moved to a new base at Riverside Park, on the Wirral International Business Park in Bromborough.
An opening ceremony last week was attended by the Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Phil Gilchrist, assisted by vice- president of Liverpool Law Society Charles Jones, Graham Madrell of Wirral Direct, vice chairman of Wirral Investment Network Ro Murphy, and partners from Lees Lloyd Whitley.
Consolidating its opera-tions in the new three-storey building, LLW plans to hold seminars and briefings for the local business community to explain changes in legislation and key issues that will affect working practices.
The firm’s business development partner Frank Rogers, said: “This move represents an enormous milestone for our business.
“It reinforces our commit-ment to work for the local people on the Wirral and gives us the opportunity to develop closer relationships.
“More than two-thirds of our 150-strong staff are now located here at Riverside Park and our clients are already enjoying the improved facilities.” Ro Murphy, of Wirral Investment Network, said: “Lees Lloyd Whitley is an excellent example of the quality businesses that are needed to support the continued growth of the borough. We hope that more companies are inspired to commit to the area and encourage focused and dynamic development”.
Head of strategic development for Wirral Council, Kevin Adderley, said: “I am very pleased Lees Lloyd Whitley has demon-strated its commitment to Wirral by choosing to grow its business here.”
