Art icon gets a new coat
LIVERPOOL’S much-loved Super-lambanana – as never seen before.
French painter Laurence Payot poured brightly-coloured paint over two of the sculp-tures for her own interpretation of the modern day icon.
It was to showcase Go Superlamban-anas, which will see 100 versions being installed for 10 weeks around Merseyside for Capital of Culture year.
