THE benefits of landing one of this year’s prestigious regional property awards should not be underestimated, according to a 2007 winner.
Miller Homes North West won the coveted Liverpool Daily Post Property Developer of the Year – Large Business, beating Redrow Homes and David McLean Homes to the title.
Sue Warwick, Miller Homes’ managing director, said: “I can remember the excitement at the Gala Evening at the Crown Plaza Hotel as the nominees were read out. There was a long pause before the winner was announced. To hear ‘…and the winner is Miller Homes’ was a most memorable achievement in a remarkable year.”
Ms Warwick’s view reveals the depth of respect the awards have earned in the industry as Miller Homes also picked up awards from two highly respected housing trade and consumer magazine titles. They won Housebuilder of the Year crown from Building, and Housebuilder of the Year from What House?
Mrs Warwick said: “Award wins such as these are a good indicator of a company’s achievements and of its standing in the market. Their effects should not be under-estimated.
“Every member of our team can share in the knowledge of a job well done and the esteem of working in a successful and growing business. The extra publicity also communicates to a larger audience an important message, that you are the crème de la crème, and that speaks volumes about our quality and reputation. We are proud to include the winners logo in all of our advertising.
“Our customer satisfaction scores are now among the highest in the industry.”
“Winning the Daily Post Regional Property Awards has brought a new focus on Miller Homes.”
This year the Property Developer of the Year – Large Business is being sponsored by NSG UK Limited. Other top names in design, finance and legal have also signed up to sponsor the awards, but there is still time to sponsor three remaining categories. Residential Development of the Year - Suburban Lifestyle, Mixed use Development of the Year and Achievers Award all need sponsorship.
Companies wishing to register their interest should contact the events team on 0151 330 4974 or email regionalpropertyawards@dailypost.co.uk.
An online application is also available on www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/rpa and deadline for entries is Friday, February 22, with the winners announced on Friday April 11.
