A JUDGE’S decision to strip a businessman believed to have made more than £7m by employing illegal immigrants of just £36,000 will be appealed.
Rashad Daloub was jailed for 3½ years in January, 2007, for breaking immigration laws by employing illegal immigrants in his businesses.
Financial investigators who examined his finances in the wake of the sentence believe the 43-year-old has made up to £7.9m from illegal working practices.
Prosecutors were hoping to seize up £373,316 in cash and property through a Proceeds of Crime hearing.
