Night of rib-tickling magic

A NIGHT of sorcery and illusion is being hosted by Ken Dodd to raise money for the Liverpool Lord Mayor’s chosen charities.

Liverpool’s number one laughter maker will compere the extravaganza on Thursday, February 28 at the Devonshire Hotel.

Guests will be treated to close up magic shows, star illusionists, mind-blowing music and incomparable comedy. Dodd said: “I can’t wait for it to start. There will be a rib-ticklingly deliciously disappearing meal and miraculous magic – if you see anything better I’ll fly off on my tickling stick.”

The Lord Mayor, councillor Paul Clark, has chosen the Linda McCartney Centre, Merseyside Region Epilepsy Association and the Alder Hey Imagine Appeal as his official charities in his mayoral year.
