Stars turn out for launch of Liverpool’s Buckets of Love charity

STARS including Eton Road and members of the Hollyoaks cast were at the launch of new Liverpool-based charity Buckets of Love, held last night at the Malmaison Hotel

The X-Factor band and Sam Darbyshire – Fletch in Hollyoaks – were among the names supporting the new project.

Similar to the Christmas shoebox appeal, Buckets of Love involves filling a bucket with specific items on the charity’s shopping list, which includes personal, recreational, educational and practical items to cater for a whole family living in poverty around the world.

The scheme is being launched throughout Merseyside and then being rolled out across the UK.
