Eight-year-old discovered £66,000 of cocaine in primary school

Glyn Sebburn jailed for six years for transporting drugs

AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD boy discovered a package containing £66,000 worth of cocaine after a drug courier dumped it in a primary school as he fled from police.

Glyn Sebburn, pictured, was transporting the high purity class A drugs between two dealers when he was spotted by officers.

Liverpool Crown Court heard the high-speed chase that followed only ended after the father-of-one dumped his car outside Blueberry Park Primary school and tried to escape through the building.

Mike Stephenson, prosecuting, said police saw Sebburn carrying a white package as he ran from his vehicle, but when they handcuffed him inside the school he was empty-handed.

The drugs were only found when a young pupil spoke up and pointed to officers where it had been abandoned.”

Sebburn of Norman-dale Road, Walton, was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison after he admitted possess-ing class A drugs with intent to supply and dangerous driving.

Judge George said of Sebburn: “He knew the people who gave the drugs to him and the person he was de-livering them to. He was obviously a trust-ed cog. It cannot be said he’s naive about this because of his own drug use and his previous convictions.”
