A MARKET trader has admitting selling thousands of fake designer clothes and shoes.
Waseem Cowker pleaded guilty to 10 trademark offences at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday.
His pleas come after Liverpool trading standards officers seized hundreds of counterfeit items in three different raids.
On August 23, 2006, officers found more than 900 fake shirts, and more than 500 pairs of shoes on his premises in Broadway market, Norris Green.
Two further raids on different premises in November 2006 and May 2007 uncovered several hundred more items.
Cowker, of Rudston Road, Childwall, Liverpool, yesterday admitted all 10 charges of false application or use of a trademark to make profit for himself or others or intending to cause loss to others.
He is due to be sentenced on March 31.
