Neptune sponsors Wirral Show

NEPTUNE Developments – the company behind the regeneration of New Brighton in Wirral – will be the lead sponsor of the Wirral Show this year.

The massive show, to be held on the weekend of July 12 and 13, attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from across Merseyside and beyond, has grown over the years to take up most of the New Brighton seafront.

Development director for Neptune, Rob Mason said his company’s reasons for sponsoring the show were two-fold.

He said: “We now have things on site and our trucks trundling up and down New Brighton, and this is a way of putting something back into the town.

“And as a commercial move it’s a great marketing opportunity – it’s an event which draws many people and this is great exposure to the local populace.”

Mike Emberton, chairman of the show which is organised by the Rotary Club, Lion and Wallasey Roundtable and raises money for charity, said Neptune’s sponsorship was marvellous.
