VOLUNTEERS from the Birkenhead-based Contact Company Call Centre and Wir- ral Council will make their contribution to Sport Relief this Friday by giving up their free time to staff the donation lines.
Around 120 will be working throughout the seven-hour TV extravaganza on BBC One this Friday.
More than £18m was raised for Sport Relief in 2006, and this year three days of entertainment and events run from Friday to Sunday.
Contact Company chief executive Asif Hamid said: “We’ve an exceptional team of volunteers here at The Contact Company and they are totally committed to the work Sport Relief does.
“The atmosphere promises to be elec-tric and the team will be working incredibly hard, getting into the spirit of Sport Relief and rising to the challenge.”
