WIRRAL children’s hospice Claire House is celebrating after receiv-ing a £10,000 award from RBS/ NatWest.
The hospice in Clatterbridge has been chosen, as part of the £1m Children’s Charity Awards, for the second year running.
It was proposed by bank staff, together with readers from a national newspaper.
The cheque will be presented by Wirral South MP Ben Chapman, who said: “Claire House is an excellent organisation, and staff do a wonder-ful job supporting children from Wirral and other areas.”
An extension to its Hospice to Home service in Liverpool will enable it to provide specialist medical care and therapy treatments for some of their children in the comfort of their own homes.
