Three more on Sefton Park murder charge

THREE more men have been charged with the murder of 17-year-old Somalian Ahmed Ibrahim, who died in the early hours of Tuesday morning following a fight in Croxteth Drive, near Sefton Park.

Ahmed Kayse Ahmed, 29, of St Mary’s Street, London, and two men from Toxteth, 19-year-old Ali Mohammed, of Ritson Street, and Ibrahim Ahmed, 22, of Beaconsfield Street, will all appear before Liverpool magistrates today.

They will be joined by Saeed Hassan Essa, of Northbrook Close, Toxteth, who has been charged with violent disorder.

Two other men, Kabir Mohammed, 22, and 21-year-old Essa Mohammed Ismail, both of Ritson Street, Toxteth, appeared in court yesterday charged with murder.

They were remanded in custody by Liverpool magistrates.

It brings to five the total of number of people charged with Ahmed’s murder.

A post-mortem examination revealed that the teenager died as a result of a “blunt force trauma”.
