Fine for Home Bargains group over barbecue

LIVERPOOL firm TJ Morris has been fined £400 after admitting selling a Chinese-made “football” barbecue, since withdrawn, that failed safety standards.

A test purchase at its Home Bargains store in Llandudno by Conwy trading standards resulted in TJ Morris also being made to pay £180 costs and the £15 victims’ surcharge by Llandudno magistrates.
