What the reorganisation will mean

THE following proposals will be submitted to the Government for funding..

CITY AND NORTH ALT VALLEY

Rebuild/remodel Archbishop Beck Catholic College. Admission reduced from 256 to 180.

Rebuild Notre Dame Catholic Girls’ School adjacent to Everton Park Sports Centre. Admission reduced from 185 to 150.

Rebuild Archbishop Blanch CE High School on a new site, co-located with St Margaret’s CE High School; shared 6th Form.

Complete existing plans for The Alsop High School to refurbish the school.

LIVERPOOL EAST

Continue with planned investment of £38m into Broughton Hall and Cardinal Heenan Catholic High Schools.

Refurbish and upgrade facilities at St Edward’s College.

Rebuild West Derby Comprehensive School on the site of Millbank playing fields, co-located with Ernest Cookson Special School. West Derby admission reduced from 240 to 180.

Complete work on Holly Lodge Girls’ College. Admission reduced from 240 to 180.

Complete the transformation of Broadgreen High School. Intake of pupils would be reduced from 240 to 210 but there would be an increase its capacity to accommodate children with physical disabilities. Endorse Broadgreen High in securing its partnership trust status.

SOUTH CENTRAL

Complete the refurbishment of Bellerive Catholic College.

Relocate St Hilda’s CE School to the current Archbishop Blanch School site. Admission increased from 129 to 150, and support the Governing Body if it seeks to offer mixed provision to help address the current gender imbalance in the Church of England sector.

Refurbish Shorefields Community School. Reduce admission from 200 to 150.

Refurbish Calderstones Community School and reduce the admission from 255 to 240.

Refurbish Childwall Sports College and reduce the admission from 210 to 180.

Implement the campus proposals for King David High School.

Further investment in The Blue Coat School.

SOUTH LIVERPOOL

Refurbish St Francis Xavier’s College reducing its admission from 215 to 180, helping to ensure the co-location on the campus of special school provision.

Re-model St Julie’s Catholic High School reducing its admission from 210 to 180.

Withdraw the current proposal at New Heys Community Comprehensive School in favour of a new academy.

Continue to cut admission number of Gateacre Community Comprehen-sive from 300 to 240; relocate to Belle Vale.
