Incinerator demands

LIVERPOOL councillors have called on the Merseyside Waste Disposal Autho-rity to be more open about plans to develop a waste incinerator.
Proposed by consultants on behalf of the waste authority, the incinerator would burn 800,000 tonnes of waste each year.
Fazakerley is believed to be the most likely site.
