A BIRKENHEAD teenager involved in a violent disturbance during which a man was stabbed in the back was yesterday sentenced to detention.
Luke Brown, 17, is currently serving an 18-month-sentence for attempted robbery and aggravated vehicle taking, and a judge told him that because of Brown’s age he could only impose an extra six months. Judge Nigel Gilmour, QC, warned Brown if he commits another serious offence he may face an indeterminate sentence.
Brown, of Henthorne Street, had pleaded guilty to affray and admitted breaching an ASBO.
The judge also ordered that, for the next three years, Brown should not be allowed to enter Birkenhead Park.
