Cold comfort as student wins style prize with £70 vintage dress

UNIVERSITY student Anna Perez was judged best-dressed racegoer at the John Smith’s Grand National meeting.

She was handed her £35,000-worth of prizes by Merseyside trendsetter Coleen McLoughlin.

Ms Perez, a 22-year-old student at Liverpool John Moores University, wore a vintage floral dress that she bought for £70.

Ms McLoughlin, 22, who is also the star of Coleen’s Real Women and fiancee of England star Wayne Rooney, wore a pastel Balenciaga “Grecian-style” dress with black Christian Louboutin shoes.

Ms McLoughlin said Ms Pereze had told her: “It is freezing today, but sometimes a girl has got to suffer to be stylish.”
