POLICE have revealed the woman struck and killed by a lorry on the M62 was a Liverpool school teacher.

The married mother-of-one leaves behind a husband of 22 years and an 11-year-old daughter.
A family statement read: “Catherine was a warm, good-natured person, who enjoyed reading, walking and music. She was an active member of the Methodist church.”
Her career in Liverpool spanned 20 years including stints at Palmerston, Oakfield, Greenways and latterly at Matthew Arnold primary, in Dingle.
