The Star Wars Force is with you – at Wallasey

THE magic of Star Wars will be coming to life in a world near you this weekend.

Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca, a loyal sidekick of Han Solo, is visiting Merseyside as part of Merseytravel’s “Sci Fi at the Movies” exhibition.

Other stars of the films, including Paul Blake (Greedo), Rusty Goffe (Jawa), Ian Liston (Wes Janson) and Gerald Home (Tessek) will also meet fans.

The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday at the Spaceport spaced-theme attraction in Wallasey, Wirral.

Characters from other science-fiction films will also entertain crowds. These are likely to include Halo, Spiderman, Batman and Robin, the Joker, the Riddler, the Power Rangers and Robocop.
