Bikeathon has £50,000 target

THE third Chester Bikeathon is aiming to raise £50,000.

Last year, the event managed £25,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care and this year has the support of the University of Chester.

Mike Broster, co-organiser of the event, which is due to take place on Sunday, June 22, said: “We are hoping to top what turned out to be a fantastic day last year.

“A big thank you to all our supporters for making the Chester Bikeathon so much fun to take part in.”

Each entrant receives a “Ches B” unique T-shirt, drinks and biscuits en route, a commemorative medal and food at the finish.

Tickets are £9 per rider or £32 per family, with on the day entry £15 per rider.

Entry forms are available all over the city or you can join at www. chesterbikeathon.co.uk or call 01625 859497.
