CARDS and flowers dedicated to the 17-year-old Liverpool fan who died last week have appeared on the road where he was killed.
Floral tributes laid at the scene on Derby Road, Bootle, name the 17-year-old from Kirkdale as Jourdan Campbell.
Described as an angel from heaven, one card reads: “Your shocking death just broke the hearts of everyone you loved.”
A huge pile of tributes line the scene of the car crash which happened around 8pm on Thursday night.
The Lexus driver travelling towards the city centre lost control of his vehicle and travelled into the path of an oncoming van.
A man travelling in the Lexus died at the scene, while the van driver was taken to hospital.
Four others were hurt in the collision.
At the time of the collision, the Lexus and a Skoda were being followed by officers travelling in an unmarked police car.
The matter has now been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
An 18-year-old from Kirkdale, who is still in hospital with head injuries, was arrested on Friday on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A 17-year-old youth was also arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving on Thursdayevening.
Collision investigators attended the section of road where the accident occurred, near to the junction with Millers Bridge and the road was closed overnight.
