Knowsley Hall guests have Fab time raising money
THE Fab Four greeted guests to a charity event held at Knowsley Hall over the weekend.
The second May Ball to raise money for the Zoe’s Place baby hospice took place at the West Derby estate on Friday evening.
The ball, sponsored by Liverpool law firm Morecrofts, included dinner, a prize raffle and auction, casino and live entertainment.
Zoe’s Place offers palliative respite and terminal care for children up to the age of five years with complex and life limiting illnesses.
Their team of trained Children’s Nurses, Senior Care Assistants, NNEB’s and Care Assistants provide 24-hour one-to-one care in a home-from-home environment.
The hospice relies entirely upon charitable donations to raise its running costs, which are currently in excess of £700,000 a year.
