Identity of death plunge man still unknown

POLICE have still not identified the man who died after falling from a bridge close to the Wallasey tunnel.

Paramedics and police found the man near the entrance of the Kingsway tunnel at around 4.45pm on Tuesday.

But they have been unable to discover who he was and are keeping an open mind as to how he fell from Wheatland Lane bridge, Wallasey.

He is thought to be in his late 20s to early 30s and was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and hooded top.
