Liverpool returns to Chelsea with garden display
THE last time Liverpool visited Chelsea, it all ended in tears.
But this latest occasion should produce happier results, as Liverpool prepares to exhibit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
The city’s exhibit, entitled Mr Roscoe’s Garden, is part of a major artistic commission for Capital of Culture year.
The design is inspired by William Roscoe, who founded Liverpool’s Botanical Collection in 1803.
Mr Roscoe’s Garden is scheduled to be shown at the Bluecoat, Liverpool (June 19-22); Tatton Park, Cheshire (July 23-27); and the Southport Flower Show (August 21-24).
