Seminar launches Trans project

A CONFERENCE for those working with transsexuals in Wirral is being held tomorrow.

TransWirral is an education, advocacy, campaigning & support organisation for all transsexual/intersex people who live in NW England and Wales.

The organisation is unveiling a new inno-vative project – called ‘THINK!!’ – aimed at educating residents and people who work in Wirral about Trans-gender issues.

The conference will offer service providers the chance to gain a greater understanding of the Trans community, who can often be forgotten or grouped with the Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay community.

It will take place at Life Centre, Wirral, 10am to 4pm when information packs, detailing Trans issues, will be available.
