GUNMEN wearing balaclavas burst into two Kirkby pubs within 10 minutes.
At about 11.45pm on Tuesday, two masked men walked in to the Windmill Hotel, in Tower Hill, and fired a shot at the television before leaving.
Forensic officers have carried out examinations and officers are examining CCTV footage.
Ten minutes later, three men, one armed with a handgun, got out of a car outside the Roughwood Hotel, on Roughwood Drive.
They approached a leaving customer and demanded to know who was in inside. They then left the scene in a dark-coloured car.
