Murder trial jury retire for third day

A JURY in the trial of murdered father Michael Wright will go into their third day of deliberations today.

The father-of-two was shot three times in the head as he sat in his car at Croxteth’s Stonedale Retail Park.

He died two hours later in hospital.

David Hibbs-Turner, 28, of Sherwoods Road, Fazakerley, neighbour Mark Richardson, 24, Philip Woolley, 19, of Roderick Road, Walton and Paul Hollands, 19, of Portlemouth Road, Croxteth, all deny his murder on December 8, 2006.

The jury at Liverpool Crown Court retired to consider their verdict on Tuesday, and will continue today.
