Drive-by shooting closes roads in West Derby

Night-time drive-by shooting closes roads

A HOUSE was hit by bullets during a drive-by shooting on Sunday.

Police were yesterday carrying out house-to-house enquiries after the incident on Culme Road, West Derby, at 9.25pm.

The street, along with Three Butt Lane and Eaton Road North were sealed off while the scene was investigated and searched.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: “It appears shots were fired towards the house from a car causing damage to the front door of the property. The car then drove off.

“No one was injured during the incident, which is believed to be targeted towards the address.”
