Family appeal on lost camper

THE family of a Kirkby man is appealing for help after he went missing more than a week ago.

Richard Martin, 34, left his home in Ashburn Avenue on Wednesday May 21 saying he was going camping.

He would generally be away for no longer than two or three days. He was last seen wearing a cream shirt, light blue denim jeans and white and blue Reebok trainers.

He sometimes goes fishing in the area of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, and has friends in the Ormskirk area of Lancashire.
