TODAY is the last day to savour the delights and flavours of Europe in St Helens.
The famous French Market is open at Church Square, offering produce from France and mainland Europe.
Delicacies including French and Dutch cheeses, fresh and died garlic and seasonal vegetable and fruit are on sale alongside Parisian jewellery and Italian leatherwear.
One of the market highlights is the mobile Boulangerie (bakery), offering freshly baked bread and sumptuous pastries.
The event is organised by St Helens council and market operator Team Fantastique, in conjunction with the Town Centre Partnership.
The consortium is made up of local business and other stakeholders who are dedicated to enhancing and promoting the town centre and its retail offer.
Geoff Drinkel, joint directors of Team Fantastique, said: “You don’t need to wait until your holidays to sample the best of Europe, just visit the town centre.
“Treat yourself to an authentic Continental breakfast or enjoy a day-long feast of flavours and goodies.”
