A FORMER Spice Girl created a storm in Liverpool yesterday, just months after being announced as the new face of a top lingerie brand.
Mel B attracted hundreds of fans to Liverpool One’s newly-opened Debenhams store as she modelled Ultimo.
Wearing a sky blue bustier under an unbuttoned white shirt, Mel B caused a stir as she paraded and talked to fans.
Liverpool was part of a whistle-stop tour of the UK, whisking Mel from city to city by private jet.
She started bright and breezy in London before her lunchtime stop in Liverpool and teatime appointment in Glasgow.
Mel B said: “I couldn’t wait to visit Liverpool again, it gets better and better with every visit.
“I just wish I had time to shop in Liverpool One and have a proper look around the gorgeous new Debenhams store.”
She added: “I was delighted when I was asked to be the face and body of Ultimo, and have been looking forward to representing the brand in person and meeting the fans in Liverpool.
“For me, Ultimo underwear is the perfect way for a woman to feel sexy and enjoy her femininity.”
Ultimo Spring Summer 08 Collection has been inspired by the glamour and vintage Art Deco charm of Miami Beach.
Michelle Mone, creator of Ultimo said: “The response to Mel B as the face and body of Ultimo has been incredible.
“As a sexy and confident woman, she is the perfect role model for our Ultimo customer and we are absolutely delighted that she wanted to come over to the UK to represent the brand in person and meet the fans.”
