TWO men will appear in court this morning, charged with the murder of a student in Liverpool city centre.
Richard Faustino, 21, from Wingate Road, Aigburth and Thomas Canning, 21, from Everton Brow, Everton, will answer charges for the murder of Liverpool University student Sion Hardy, 24, on November 15 last year.
The civic design student, from Bangor, North Wales, was walking home with friends from a night out when he was attacked.
He suffered severe injuries and died that night.
Two other men, Simon Taylor and Kevin O’Dea, both 22, were sentenced to seven years in prison for the killing on May 8, after being convicted of manslaughter.
Faustino and Canning will appear at Liverpool Magistrates this morning.
