A GANGSTER’S girlfriend who cut and packaged drugs while pregnant has been jailed after giving birth.

Underworld figure Daniel Gee’s partner, Kelly Wallace, was five months pregnant as police watched her working in his drugs factory.

The 21-year-old later appeared in the dock at Liverpool Crown Court while eight months pregnant and admitted her part in the operation.

The couple, who have another daughter together, even recruited children to deliver the drugs.

She was bailed on electronic tag, which the courts agreed could be removed while she gave birth.

But yesterday a weeping Wallace, of Venice Street, Everton, was jailed for three years – just five weeks after giving birth to her daughter Chloe.

Jailing her, Judge John Roberts said: “I have no doubt whatsoever you were under the influence of Daniel Gee, who was a very domineering figure.”

Smartly-dressed, dark-haired Wallace wept as she was led away.

Gee, and accomplice Karl Evans, were jailed earlier this month for drugs offences.
