THOUSANDS of men, women and children will come together tomorrow to form the UK’s biggest-ever breast cancer sup- port group – in the shape of a pink lady.

Field of Women, organised by Liverpool breast cancer unit The Linda McCartney Centre, is designed not only to remember lost loved ones but to celebrate life and show there is hope after breast cancer diagnosis.

The event at Liverpool Cricket Ground, in Aigburth, is open to anyone who has been affected by the disease or wants to show their support.

Celebrity guests will include model Danielle Lloyd, comedian Ricky Tomlinson, and Hollyoaks actors Carly Stenson and Sarah Dunn.

All attendees will be given pink ponchos and form the shape of a female silhouette referred to as LUCY, which stands for “Listen Up, Check Yourself”, designed to encourage women to check regularly for signs of breast cancer.

The Linda McCartney Centre is hoping to raise £1m from the event.

Tom Southern, director of fundraising, said: “By joining thousands of others tomorrow, you will help create the largest show of support for those affected by this disease ever seen in this country.”

PEOPLE can register online until 3pm this afternoon by visiting www. fieldofwomen.com or by calling 0151 706 3153. You can register on the day but need to arrive early.

The gates open at 11am, the LUCY shape will be formed at 1.45pm, and the event closes at 5pm.
