THE 2007/08 Clipper Race was divided into seven legs and 14 individual races.
Points were accumulated according to each race position/ and the yacht with the highest total at the finish wins the race trophy – the coveted Clipper Cup.
Leg 1: Liverpool to La Rochelle, France to Salvador de Bahia, Brazil
Leg 2: Salvador de Bahia to Durban, South Africa
Leg 3: Durban to Fremantle, Western Australia
Leg 4: Fremantle to Singapore to Qingdao, China
Leg 5: Qingdao to Hawaii, USA to Santa Cruz, USA
Leg 6: Santa Cruz to Panama City, Panama, to Port Antonio, Jamaica.
Leg 7: Port Antonio to New York, USA, to Novia Scotia, Canada to Cork, Ireland to Liverpool.
