CELEBRITY antiques dealer David Dickinson was among the crowds at a Liverpool auction house yesterday.
A rare bronze Carpathia medal, awarded to a Liverpool crew member after the ship rescued survivors from the Titanic was among the popular lots going under the hammer at Cato Crane and Company.
Attracting interest from numerous bidders, including two telephone bids from abroad, the medal sold for £2,000.
David Dickinson, who was visiting the auction house for the sixth time, also filmed parts of the Dickinson’s Real Deal television programme.
