Wirral stabbing suspect bailed

A MAN has been arrested and released on police bail following a stabbing in Wirral.

Police arrested a 19-year old man in connection with the incident last Friday, July 4, at a house on The Summit in Wallasey.

The 20-year-old victim received a stab wound to the left hand side of his chest, and police said last night he was still being treated in hospital where he is now recovering.

The incident happened at around 10pm, and police said the victim and offender are believed to have known each other.

The 19-year old who was arrested has been released on police bail pending inquiries.
