THE husband of a woman found murder- ed will appear in court this morning charged with her killing.
David Mulholland, 57, will appear at Ormskirk Magistrates charged with the murder of Pamela, 52.
Her body was found inside a blazing house in Heritage Way, Tarleton, near Ormskirk, in the early hours of Friday.
The grim discovery was made after firefighters broke down the door and rescued a 57-year-old man who was taken to hospital in Ormskirk suffering smoke inhalation.
He was later arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to Leyland police station for questioning.
A post mortem examination confirmed Mrs Mulholland died of stab wounds.
It took firefighters more than three hours to bring the fierce blaze under control at the newly-built £350,000 house on a private development.
