AROUND 140 worshippers attended a morning Mass yesterday to mark the re-opening of a fire-damaged Liverpool church.
St Anthony’s, in Scotland Road, has been closed for the last three months following fire damage.
Although physical damage was minor, there was extensive smoke damage to the building as a result of the fire on April 8.
Parish priest Fr Graeme Dunne said: “It was good to be back in the church. There was a lovely atmosphere.”
