THE final meal on the Titanic is to be recreated at a special event hosted by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool today.
Representatives from cities connected with the Titanic are gathering to discuss how the disaster should be commemorated in the run-up to its 100th anniversary in 2012.
To mark the first gathering of the Titanic Cities, which include Liverpool, South- ampton, Belfast Cobh, New York and Halifax, Nova Scotia, dignitaries will be served the menu offered to first class passengers on April 14, 1912.
