Woman made Molotov cocktail

A WOMAN threatened her neighbours with a Molotov cocktail, a court heard.

Caroline McLoughlin, an epilepsy sufferer, created a home-made petrol bomb and went to the home of Cindy Brown carrying a lighted cigarette.

Liverpool Crown Court heard an argument broke out and McLoughlin, 34, of Bairchester Drive, Aigburth, slapped Ms Brown, who feared she would light the bomb.

Judge William George sentenced McLoughlin to a community order with two years’ supervision after she admitted an affray charge.

He said McLoughlin, who has had fits in court and uses a wheelchair, needed support.

She lost her unborn baby just weeks before and was “fragile’’.

She also thought her neighbours were to blame for something on the internet about her baby.
