Public transport the best way to get to see the Tall Ships

SHUTTLE buses costing £1 will operate between the Albert and Wellington Docks, running between 9.15am and 9.15pm.

6,000 car parking spaces are available at park and ride sites loacted at Aintree Racecourse, Hooton Park Airfield, Wirral, and John Lennon Airport, Speke.

The closest rail station to the Albert Dock is James Street on the Wirral Line and Moorfields on the Northern Line. Wellington Dock is closest to Sandhills. Exit the station and follow signs for Tall Ships.

Limited car parking is available in the city centre at the Kings Dock multi-storey car park, and the Q-parks for Liverpool One. Expect spaces to fill up quickly, with the council advising people to make use of Park & Ride services.
