Jeep used in ram raid

BURGLARS used a Jeep Cherokee to ram raid a shop and steal its cash machine, police have said.

Three or four men used the 4X4 to crash into Safal’s newsagents on Rice Lane, Walton, in the early hours of yesterday morning.

They all wore black and one brandished a small handgun. They escaped in a second car described as an estate.
