A PUBLIC meeting to discuss the proposals for a new city hospital will take place on Thursday.
It is the first chance for people to quiz those behind the plans to replace the Royal Hospital.
The £477m project promises to give each patient their own private room in a new building on the existing Prescot Street site.
The Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust are holding the meeting at Maghull Town Hall at 6.30pm.
It is one of a series of public meetings being held over 14 weeks at venues around Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley.
People will hear about the proposals and question clinicians and managers.
Further meetings are being held in Garston, Sefton Park, Walton, Huyton, Kirkby and Liverpool city centre in September.
