A TEENAGER was in a critical condition last night after being attacked in Huyton.
The 19-year-old male was walking along Tarbock Road at 11am yesterday with two friends, when they were approached by a group of three youths, who assaulted them.
He was taken to hospital, where he was last night described as in a critical condition.
The offenders are white, around 17 years old and wearing dark clothing. One was wearing a blue jacket and the other a black jacket.
Superintendent Martin Andrew urged witnesses to come forward.
Police have increased patrols in the area and have begun conducting house to house inquiries.
