RLPO brings down curtain on Southport Classics concerts
THE ROYAL Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra brought this year’s Southport Classics concerts to a climax on Saturday night.
Soprano Natasha Marsh made a special appearance with the orchestra at Victoria Park as part of the Itoku opera which was composed by her mother Lin.
Former Savio High school pupil George Gallagher, 15, performed a song from Les Miserables.
Chart toppers M People headlined the Classics on Friday night, supported by The Christians.
