LIVERPOOL indie band The Wombats will be featuring in a new show on Channel 4’s T4 strand next month.
Je Suis Un Rock Star is part of Channel 4’s New Talent Month and promises viewers an exclusive insight to life as a “fixer” with a big-name band.
The series will see 12 youngsters, shortlisted from hundreds, battle it out to compete for the ultimate work experience placement in the music industry.
The three successful candidates will face the biggest challenge of their lives – joining The Wombats on a European tour.
Their job as fixers will be to make sure everything runs smoothly in one country each as the band travels to Germany, Spain and France.
The stakes will be high for all three hopefuls as this could be their first step into a successful career in the music business.
