Impressive cruise liner sets sail again down the River Mersey
THE largest cruise liner to arrive in Liverpool left for Belfast last night after making her third appearance of the summer in the city.
The Grand Princess, which carries 2,600 passengers and measures 950ft long and 109,000 tonnes, sailed up the Mersey yesterday morning.
The ship was the first Princess class ship to visit Liverpool when it arrived for its first of four visits in June.
It arrived in Liverpool from Dublin yesterday morning and sailed for Belfast last night.
It is due to return to Liverpool again on August 22.
